Chris Blackwood

I am full of joy at the opportunity to partner with you in the work of building the Kingdom of God both locally and abroad. Together, with your help and with the support of e3, I believe that we can accomplish great things for the glory of the Lord Jesus. He has commanded us to “Go and make disciples of all nations” and that is what I intend to do. Jesus is a King worthy of my life laid down. What a privilege it is for me to be able to serve Him in this ministry role. He set me free and called me to go and offer the same freedom to other lost souls in this world. Nothing makes me happier than seeing people encounter His love.

Personally, I also love to play sports with my friends - my favourite sports are: hockey, basketball, and football. I am single and live in a house with friends who love the Lord and are living missionally. My Christian family in my home town, Peterborough, are amazing people and I would not be who I am today without their love and support.

In the Lord’s strength, my goal is to plant churches in partnership with fellow e3 members and with other trusted organizations/churches. I plan to disciple new local leaders and see them empowered to shepherd these new churches. My hope is to see a new network of house church gatherings formed in southern Ontario and beyond, through training events, sharing the Gospel, and one-on-one discipleship.
